KIT ROOM: FIORENTINA IN THE 90S

Various kit manufacturers provided Batistuta, Rui Costa and all with some absolutely sterling kits during the 90s (and one accidentally controversial one), here are some of the highlights:

1992/1993 Away Shirt – Lotto kits are almost always smart and 7Up makes for a cool shirt sponsor, unfortunately, it somehow slipped the notice of everyone that the patterns joined to form a swastika, it was subsequently banned.

1998-1999 Home Shirt – I like Fila as a brand, the Nindendo logo looks superb and nostalgic on a football shirt and it had a great sleeve design, for all these reasons, I think this may be the pick of the bunch. Probably the shirt that everyone pictures Batistuta in.

1995-1996 Home Shirt – Completely different from the first two and probably less iconic, it’s still another cracking shirt with yet another different kit manufacturer and sponsor. The club had one of their most successful seasons in recent history wearing this, finishing tied 3rd in Serie A and winning the Coppa Italia.
